The Cooking School is still in the works. They’re still trying to pass the Final Inspections so we can open and get started with the “True Culinary Experience”. I’m going to hold off another month before posting any classes to ensure the school gets open. In the meantime, we’ve been having small group classes at our home. We can handle 8 – 10 students at a time. We teach a Four Course Gourmet Meal and sit down between each one eat, eat, and eat more. One class was learning about Shucking Oysters and preparing them with Homemade Cocktail Sauce, Fresh Squeezed Lemons, and Cracked Black Pepper. They were the size of your hand and you had to chew or cut them in half. We were having so much fun and seeing them doing this, we almost blew off the rest of the meal, but we didn’t. We ended the meal with a Flourless Chocolate Torte, in which we had to make this first in order to have it ready for dessert. These classes are an “absolute hoot”!
